DLC Content refers to the different pre-order and post-game add-ons for the Infamous series.
Infamous
In Infamous, the only add-on content available is the Gigawatt Blades power. Originally a Pre-Order excusive, they became free DLC on December 9th, 2009.
This power allowed Cole to wrap his hands in blade-shaped lightning for a massive melee damage boost, at the cost of three Battery Cores per use - its only downside is that the power only lasts for one successful melee attack, meaning Cole has to re-activate it after every hit for maximum damage output.
Infamous 2
There are 11 different main DLC items for Infamous 2, these being:
- 4 Amp Skins - Samurai sword, Gold Amp, Caveman Club, and Sly's Cane.
- 4 Powers -
- Sniper Blast - A narrow but long-range power, useful for blasting enemies off of rooftops.
- Electrocution Grenade - A grenade that sparks with lightning, covering an area around it in electricity that stuns and zaps enemies near it before exploding.
- Lightning Hook - A variation of the latter main-game power, Lightning Tether, this power instead attaches to objects and enemies and pulls them toward Cole; helpful for yanking enemies down off of high rooftops, or for just pulling them off their feet for quick finishers.
- Stalker Grenade - Another grenade power, this one jumps toward enemies before exploding, making it useful for enemies behind cover.
- 3 player skins -
Cole's Reaper skin
cole's kessler skin
- Reaper - this skin is designed around the Reaper outfits from the first game, featuring Cole dressed in an unzipped red jacket with the classic Reaper skull motif on the hood and the sleeves rolled up and red jeans with a black belt. Cole also has the top half of his torso covered in a black substance, reminiscent of the Tar from the first game, and the lower half coloured chalk-white, his face painted with the same Reaper skull motif, and his arms coloured a sickly, rotting gray-black. His eyes also glow a bright blood-red in cutscenes, yet are dulled during gameplay.
- Kessler - this skin puts Cole into the attire of his original arch-nemesis and future self, Kessler; he dons the pure-white cloak, with the hood pulled up over his head and the neck-scarf covering part of his chin and draping low down over the metal, cyborg-esque chestplate, as well as wearing the metal augmentation/prosthetic on his right arm. His eyes glow a bright electric blue in cutscenes, yet similar to the Reaper skin, this glow is dulled during gameplay.
- Classic Cole - this skin features Cole wearing his original courier jacket from the first game, as well as the beginning of this instalment, the colours shifting with his karmic state in the same way.
classic cole
There were 2 unreleased player skins, those being a Kevin Butler skin (the original playstation mascot), and a recently discovered zombie skin.
- The Kevin Butler skin is playable, after modifying the game files, but the Zombie skin is unfortunately not accessible as of yet, the only evidence of its existence being a singular 'unlock_zombie_skin.edat' game file.
There are also 3 DLC Missions - Checkpoint, The Exterminator and a different version of the Masquerade mission.
Second Son
There are multiple DLCs for the third instalment - 5 jackets and 2 different campaigns.
the 'Legendary' vest included in the collectors edition
- Jackets - there were 4 jackets available for people who pre-ordered the game, as well as a jacket included with the Collector's Edition.
- Unfortunately, the pre-order jackets are unavailable for anyone who hadn't done so.
- Campaigns - the two campaign DLCs are Cole's Legacy and Paper Trail.
- Cole's legacy is a series of missions that explain the events between Infamous 2 and Second Son. Delsin interacts with Sebastian Wolfe - the brother of Dr Raymond Wolf - and he gives him information about the creation of the D.U.P and how the Government tried to cover-up Cole's actions in New Marais. Eventually, he gets to talk to Zeke Dunbar, who gives some more information. Sebastian ends up getting killed by a D.U.P ambush, and after he delivers his notes to a dead drop location for Zeke, Delsin gets contacted, Zeke telling him that Cole would be proud. Completing this DLC awards you Cole's Jacket.
- Paper Trail is better explained on its wiki page.
First Light
Fetch in her D.U.P Agent uniform
The only DLC available for First Light is the D.U.P Fetch outfit - this outfit is a 'what-if' design, based on if Fetch had successfully completed her D.U.P training and became an Agent.
