The Big Chill is a Good karma side mission found in the Gas Works District in Infamous 2, in which Cole must help his Ice Conduit ally.
Objective
Our Ice Gang friend, let's just say he put on some weight, has been asking to meet.
Kuo speaks with Cole
Kuo calls Cole and tells him that their Ice Soldier Ally wants to meet again. After hanging up, Cole sees his now Ice Titan ally who expresses excitement over his new-found power. The Ally then destroys the wall of a nearby warehouse, exposing a group of Ice Soldiers whom Cole and the ally defeat. After winning the battle at the first warehouse, the Ally leads Cole to another, where more Ice Soldiers must be defeated. Once these Ice Soldiers are defeated, the Ally and Cole head to the back, where two more soldiers are hopping over a wall. Kuo immediately alerts Cole to pursue them. The Ally states that he can take care of himself. Cole then goes after them and upon catching them defeats the remaining soldiers.
Reward
Upon completion, Cole receives 100 XP and slightly reduces enemy activity in New Marais. Also, he becomes a bit more heroic.
Trivia
- Throughout this mission, the Ice Solder Ally will keep shouting battle phrases about his new powers and the strengths they give him.
- By completing all of the Ice Conduit Side Missions, a bronze Trophy (Frozen Asset) is awarded.
